GF Smith Colorplan paper sculptures for the Princess Diana Exhibition.

Paper sculptor and art director Pauline Loctin specialises in folding and origami, creating large-format 3D installations. Her passion lies in working with international brands and institutions to showcase paper as a medium that offers more than a visual experience.

The Princess Diana Exhibition by Accredited Access is presented as a walk-through documentary, sharing original image collections and intimate stories narrated by royal photographers Anwar, Zak and Samir Hussein.

Pauline chose a selection of GF Smith Colorplan papers in 270gsm to develop six bespoke art installations for the exhibition, inspired by the iconic fashion statements of Princess Diana and ladies of the royal family, and their love of beautiful headwear.

The freedom found by Princess Diana when discovering her sense of style has rippled beyond fashion, as her clothing choices built cultural and emotional connections around the world. Pauline pays homage to this flair with her handmade sculptures, combining laser-cutting and folding techniques to create intricate details and dramatic dimensional forms.
