British Council celebrates the artistry in design

As part of GFSmith's forthcoming Beauty in the Making event, The British Council’s Architecture, Design and Fashion Department are curating an exhibition that reclaims the spotlight for the design process.
A key part of the British Council's work is to build cultural relationships. In the communication process that's involved, they collaborate with leading creative teams on graphic design projects aimed at international audiences, and each team brings a fresh response to the challenge. Run by guest curator Rebecca Lynch, the exhibition will reveal the creative process behind these special design projects from eight of their creative partners: Bibliotheque, Anthony Burrill, Objectif, Julia, Marque, Bianca Wendt and Kellenberger-White. Event visitors will be invited to explore the internal workings of the graphic design process, from the collection of visual and site-specific inspirations, through to the final creative output.
