Even so, it seems our voyeuristic appetite for images of the commonplace only grows. Japanese artist Shin Suzuki’s work is a reflection of this medium of expression. Suzuki documents the world around him, in detail and with subjectivity; anything that catches his eye is recorded with seemingly purposeless abandon. Suzuki’s camera becomes an extension of his eye, absorbing the world around him. Resisting the urge to edit, it seems, is part of Suzuki’s art.
